I love the Dentist. Very experienced, professional, and personable.
However, I won’t even mention Jose, unless he still works for them. Too bad if he is even allowed to work with patience anywhere.
But all other Dental Care staff at the office have been wonderful. Just not... Jose. The Dentist handled my complaint over Jose very professionally, and respectfully. I felt cared for.
Unfortunately, I need to share a negative experience. No name will be given. Her voice sounds very familiar, but I don’t even want to match her phone voice with her face in the Office, or even know her name. I just want her to correct her rude behavior.
I believe a person sounding like her has behaved in this way two or three previous times, when I have tried to contact the Office.
What is rude?
To her, or maybe to you, the reader, this is not rude (the following), but to me it is not acceptable, and rude, and could be hurting their business practice. Their Dental Business.
Here’s the behavior:
She talked over me to ask a question, and talked over me again (interrupting) to repeat her question. What I had to say was valid to me. Getting interrupted without explanation, this third or fourth time, was really offensive. I let her know that it was rude and that zI wouldn’t have said anything if this had been the first or second time, which I didn’t. Her too typical answer was...
(Guess) You would probably guess right. Her answer was:
“I’m sorry you feel that way.”
If she’s the Dentists daughter or niece, or Granddaughter, I get it. Just keep the family together,. But, whatever the relationship, I really hope she can separate her personal feelings from her work, or at least act respectfully during a thirty second professional business transaction/communication.
Good thing that she handled the rest of the conversation very properly. But without properly apologizing one can only expect more of the same in the future.
I sense a pattern but hope to see a difference. I keep returning and opening my mouth (respectfully)in more ways than one , except to Jose, so I think I am definitely being fair. More than fair. I rated the Practice at 5 Stars, although the (Master/Diplomat) Dentist is at the top of his field, because a few bubbles just need to be worked out.
Sorry, for saying this, but it’s truth from my standpoint.

My wedding day was just 3 weeks away and it had been at least 10 years since I been to a dentist ( I know, that’s a very long time😬).
I didn’t expect for the staff to be so sweet and the doctor even sweeter. This place is organized and professional. By the third visit my smile was already looking so much better. I was received without any judgment and could not be more grateful. I get to exchange my vowels this weekend feeling more confident thanks to Alhambra Garfield Dental.

My 1st visit was along time ago. I have issues with needles. I explained my concerns when I called the office. They understood my concerns and said that if I I made an appointment they would work with me no problem. The doctor's are great. I've been going there ever since. I've had root canals fillings cleanings. Maria and Raquel are the best I would not even think about going anywhere else for my dental needs.

Knowledgeable and friendly doctor. Flexible scheduling. I was seen same day fortunately. Front office staff is very helpful answering questions regarding insurance. Very good wait time. Easy parking nearby. Glad I have a dentist I can keep coming back to!
