A solid for some tofu soup. Inside is simple. They also have some tables set up on the sidewalk for outdoor dining. I liked the spicy pork and assorted tofu. Good banchan. Decent portions. There's street meter parking or a small lot in the back.
So delicious and great friendly service! Really generous servings and super tasty food. I love spicy food but when I asked for the spicy kimchi tofu stew the owner was like are you sure? I recommend getting the normal and not asking for extra spicy 🥵🌶😝 Really delicious and large portion of the galbitang too. My wife can't stop talking about this spot and how good the galbitang was and now all other places are compared to the bar set here. We will definitely be going back when we are in town to this little gem!
Quick takeaway: get the spicy pork. It comes with all you can eat kimchi sides. It rocks. How do you judge a good Korean restaurant? Here’s how I do it: Do they have spicy pork? Does it taste awesome? Do they offer extra kimchi and rice at no cost? Then you have found your new home. This place checks all those boxes. Check check and check! Very tasty food and can’t wait to go back. Bonus on a Saturday night was the UFC on the tv!🥋
Food was ok. Pretty average tofu soup. But the service… omg it was way too slow. I had to call server 2 times to get just a cup of water. It took forever to receive it. Also, i received my soup after around 10min after i got my rice which i could half finish my rice before the soup. When i was ready to pay i was waiting for the servers to come and they never came. Not even noticing us. I was almost dancing waving my hand but still not coming. All their attention is take out order not the ppl sitting in the hall lol. It was pretty hilarious when server asking me everything is ok when not a single order came except basic side dish.
Food was good, but unfortunately, the service wasn't. It seemed like more of their focus was on fulfilling takeout orders and stocking inventory, rather then tending to their seated customers. I had to call the servers over for every action, after waiting 5-10 minutes for each action. This included us asking for a menu, letting them know that we're ready to order, asking for utensils (after receiving our appetizers, waiting, and seeing that other families after us were given utensils), asking for a check, and asking to take back our check. Food also took long to arrive, but at least we were notified of this beforehand. The manager and waitress did apologize for the wait and service however, which was nice.
