Enjoyed their Pasadena Restaurant Week menu. We had the Blackened Ahi Tuna & Kale Salad, Chopped BLT Salad, Egg Pasta with Shrimp & Bacon, Sake Salmon, Chocolate Cheesecake, and the Chocolate Napoleon. The presentation on the Salmon and Chocolate Cheesecake could have been better. The flavors were delicious, and the price couldn't be beat. Our server Brian was attentive and friendly.

A great addition to the food scene in Pasadena. Come learn how to cook. Also enjoy some meals prepared at the restaurant.

Monday lunch. French dip sandwich, which on the menu was described as being made with gruyere cheese, arrived instead with cheddar. This is not acceptable. It’s a completely different sandwich. Salad with grilled shrimp was good, but shrimp were only partially cooked, and still raw in the centers. Portions were modest. Wait time for the food to arrive was longer than what would be considered normal. Quite expensive for the overall value of what you are receiving. Staff was quite pleasant, accommodating. One of the chefs came over during our meal and checked in with us, which was very much appreciated. The space is lovely, airy, bright, wonderful high ceilings. Unfortunately, at least on this visit, the quality of food was just not in line with the cost of what we were paying. There’s a reason that practically no one is here.

It is a great concept and one would expect culinary “art” to be tested here. Our breakfast experience was quite the opposite - we ordered fried eggs with a toast, breakfast potatoes and plain croissants. Everything came out very oily and you can clearly tell that the oil has been in usage for very long time. Service was nice, hence 2 stars.

Went here for lunch a few times. The interior is spacious, renovated, but not too modern. The sandwiches and pastas are all very good. The fixed menu is a fantastic deal with salad, slightly smaller entree and pastry for $10. I'd highly recommend this place for lunch.
